This Cornus kousa cultivar was discovered around 1910 and is a Dutch selection. 'China Girl' blossoms at a very young age and its bracts are considerably larger than the regular kousa's. It also produces larger berries. In autumn, the 'China Girl' attains a beautiful orange red autumn dress. Caring for 'China Girl' is the same as for the regular kousa. 'China Girl' is winterproof.
