This cultivar has a compact  growth habit. The new shoots are a bit thicker than the rest of the species’. The leaves also have a more leatherlike structure than the Cornus kousa. The cultivar is especially suitable for smaller gardens. The flowers are, as the name already suggests, larger than those of the Cornus kousa. The color of its bracts is cream white, and its fruits can become quite large. All other characteristics are equal to those of the regular Cornus kousa. Can grow to a height of 150 cm after 10 years
