Cornus kousa ‘Akatsuki’

Cornus kousa ‘Akatsuki’is a variegated leaved variety selected out of the Cornus kousa ‘Satomi’. The pink flowers show themselves very pretty with the white-edged leaves on the background. The autumn colouring is spectacular with ‘Akatsuki’.

The growth is modest and ‘Akatsuki’ as a young shrub needs some shelter so it can develop good future growth.

After 10 years it grows 2 meters in height.
