This Cornus florida cultivar blossoms in spring with white bracts. The most striking aspect of this plant, however, are the white-edged leaves. These give the plant a decorative look throughout the blossoming season. The 'Daybreak' grows very well for a multi-colored Cornus. In autumn, the leaves color the same way as the rest of the species, but because of its white-edged leaves the plant almost seems to be on fire. These characteristics make it a real eye-catcher in your garden. Taking care of the 'Daybreak' is the same as for the rest of the species and the plant is completely winterproof.
